		<description>I thought so also. It&#039;s too easy to take for granted what our armed forces do for us...both in times of peace and at war.

We lost five more just the other day.

That is certainly a very different kind of Christmas Poem. It does reflect the sad reality of what still goes on.

While it doesn&#039;t hurt to remember those who serve in isolation while the majority celebrates together I for one don&#039;t want to think about warriors and soldiers at the time reserved for peace.

It may sound a bit idealistic but I look forward to the day, if it ever comes, when there&#039;ll be no need for people having to stand guard so that others can have at least a resemblance of peace.
