Update, of sorts, on my travels with Alex Jeffreys

SplatterI haven`talked much of late about the course I`m taking with Alex Jeffreys. Largely because circumstances have got me a little untracked.  Not really in a bad way but I just haven`t found the time to post as much as I`d like and my planning, such as it is, has pretty much gone out the window the past little while.

A project I`ve been working on is coming to completion. At least I hope so. I was hoping to have it out some time ago but ran into some hurdles. It`s become even more important as the benefits I`ve been receiving for my bad shoulder are about to run out so an income stream from all this is becoming much more important. I haven`t mentioned my shoulder, and how it`s largely behind me entering the Internet Marketing field, as it was going to be brought up in my “About” page which I have yet to get around to doing. (see above about planning going out the window :) ) Anyways, I’m an electrician by trade, have been for over thirty years, and I’m no longer able to raise my right arm above my shoulder for extended periods of times. This is due to a combination of chronic bursitis and a small tendon tear. Needless to say, I’m not of much use as an electrician with that kind of a limitation so here I am trying to do this Internet Marketing thing.

Being that I’ve fallen behind in my posting and things have kind of got out of sync in terms of what Alex has taught us, and when, I’ll be trying to do a post on each module in the near future. I’m going to give each one another listen then post on it. They may become a little spread out as there’s other things I want to post on also and projects that need my attention but I hope to get caught up fairly quickly.

I think this quote is appropriate for how things have gone in the past couple of weeks.

Hey Rod, I love that quote too. I have been thinking about adding quotes to my blog posts, I just might start. Alex’s calls are very long it will take some time to go through them all. It has all been such a huge learning experience, I can barely remember module 1! I might follow in your footsteps and try to put aside some time to re-watch them again as well.

I will watch out for your future posts. Hope that shoulder starts to feel better in time.

    Cheers
    Mel

    Thanks, Mel :)

I rather doubt it it will ever be 100% which is fine…it’s not too bad during the day. Worst part is that I can’t sleep on it.

    Hi Rod,

Hope your shoulder gets a bit better. I have my share of aches and pains too. I really hate to admit I’m getting old!

Thanks for posting on my blog and thanke for your encouragement.

    Thanks, Gene :)

Yeah, getting old has it’s aches and pains but it beats the alternative.

You’re most welcome…it’s well deserved. You have a good looking site and you did a super job on your first video. I hope I can do as well.

    Cheers,
    Rod

Much better to take your time and fully grasp the contents than to rush through and miss some of the important fundamentals. We are all moving through the course at different paces due to a number of reasons, let alone full time work for many of us, however the key is to keep determined and to move forwards.
    Keep up the good work

    Hi Tom,

Yes, I agree but it’s more getting back on track in relating what I’ve learned to the readers of my blog then it is in understanding it. A lot of what Alex is teaching is not new to me but by going over everything again I can do a better job of posting here as I think I need to put a little more thought into how, when and what I post.

    Cheers,
    Rod

Rod, Good luck with your online adventures. I am a mechanic and have been for the last 30 years and the years have taken a toll on me so I understand health problems. Stay focused and you will go places.
    Doug
